Important Update Regarding Our Surcharge Pricing Program for New York State Merchants.

Dear ISO Partners,

New York State recently passed legislation that impacts any merchant who assesses a credit card surcharge. The legislation mandates that all New York merchants that surcharge customers must display the maximum price that a consumer may pay for a product, regardless of payment method.

This means the displayed price of goods and services MUST be the higher/card price for all New Your merchants.

Please be sure to make your New York merchants aware of this update. A link to the New York State Senate's Surcharge ruling can be found here.

If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please contact our compliance team at compliance@merchantindustry.net. They are ready to provide guidance and assistance.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We appreciate your cooperation and ongoing partnership.
